Tinsel town’s ‘Tanu weds Manu’ shaadi is inviting more and more guests and it has a very filmy behind the scene story similar to that of Sunny Deol’s hit ‘Ghayal’ attached to it.

The youthful ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ has travelled from one corporate house to another but the corporate honchos where reluctant to put the company’s money citing the reason that the director Anand L. Rai’s previous flicks ‘Strangers’ starring Jimmy Shergil and ‘Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic’ starring Saif and Rani where duds at B.O.

Mahindra group was ready and even a contract was made, only to be backed out at the last moment.

Anyways, Vinod Bachchan and Shailesh R. Singh believed in Anand and the project got rolling. During the shooting too, the film faced various challenges but all well that ends well. Now with a successful release and a promising first week, the movie is on the verge of adding itself to the list of B-town success stories of 2011.
